TS002338482 — Unable to add payees to a running workflow using an 'Add Workflow Members' schedule type

Fixed: Resolved an issue where payees cannot be added to a running workflow using the 'Add Workflow Members' schedule type without restarting the workflow.

Reproduction Steps

1. Log in to the admin client.

2. Import data that contains payee information.

  a. To save the import to Varicent ICM storage, select the Save this import as check box and name the import.

3. Add a workflow.

  a. Select 'Admin initiated workflow' as the type of workflow.

  b. On the Restrictions tab, define the restrictions for the payee or payees who make up the form initiator swimlane.

4. Add an alert node.

5. Add an action node.

6. Connect the nodes.

7. Start the workflow.

8. Edit the saved import from step 2 and map the columns to match the restrictions in step 3b.

9. In Scheduler, add a task.

  a. From the Type drop-down menu, select 'Add Workflow Members.'

10. Run the item.

The result is the new payees are unable to access the workflow tasks.
